"This seller is currently away until Apr 23, 2014, and is not processing orders at this time. You can add this item to your watch list to purchase later."

== fine print ==
"Note: Please contact us if you do not receive your item after 45 weekdays"

and if you click on the "buyers" - they all have less than 100 feedback...

== my suspicions ==
creator of account takes advantage of sellers that are away. transfers funds to foreign bank account and abandons both ebay and paypal accounts. buyers have to wait for lengthy escalations to receive money back (part of ebay money back guarantee program)

what do you guys think?

Too good to be true = not true. You put far more effort into it than necessary.

I think you should order 100 and then sell them to all of us here for $100 a piece....you'll make like $4000 profit. What could possibly go wrong?

I just bought the Evo 840 500GB on Newegg for $279... so yeah, either scam... or I guess I'll need to return my drive.

Nothing gets past you, Sherlock.

Yeah that was way out there man. No way would anything that good be real. I wouldn't even feel good about actually getting a deal like that. I'd feel like I stole it.

Another seller had 1tb Evo's for $50 last week. It was probably the same seller under a different name. That auction and account got removed really fast as well. Not until about 15 "drives" where sold though

I read something like this somewhere about USB drives they were selling. They can somehow get Windows to mis-represent how much space is on the drive. Might be something similar.
