I had a thread where some people helped tweak my ideal new pc for about $1200, and it came out great. An upgrade is long overdue; my laptop is four years old and crummy. But now I'm wondering if I shouldn't wait a few months to upgrade, perhaps even until the end of the year. There will be more motherboard options, supplies of the core duos will be more reliable (and cheaper?), and prices across the board should be drive down by the release of intel's quad-core chip, right?
I mean, if I've waited four years for a new computer, waiting four more months isn't hard...but is it worth it?
