Tonight's X-Files Episode

<< This is a good example of a show that should have ended one season ago. >>

I agree, with 5 eps left I sure would have been doing much better stories than that..... The last ep belongs in the 2nd or 3rd season, not one of the last ones ever.

I agree that it shouldn't have been one of the last episodes, but I guess it's not sweeps yet. I still thought it was a decent episode, not great, but decent.

I agree it was good but I expected every single ep from 10 to (when they started the countdown on FOX) to rule.... I mean all the loose ends they have left over the years should have been answered and yet were treated to decent eps... If I was the writer I would have had a 5-6 hour (episode) long episode over the alien ship. Im sure there planning on ending with the alien ship but geez theres only 4, maybe 5(cant remember right now) left....

I liked this episode; although, I did not like that blonde chick. She was awful.

"I wonder what Mulder and Scully would do!!!"
"Mulder and Scully blah blah blah"

I don't know if she was intented to be so annoying by the writers, or if she's just a really bad actress.

It was a decent episode, for this season anyway. The kid was very freaky. The Scully scenes were funny too.

Agent Harrison was in an episode last season I believe. She was more annoying then, though I suppose that's because Reyes wasn't there to offset some of her annoying-ness.

I was really expecting these last episodes to be all about the main storyline too. Nevertheless, if Reyes dies next episode, I'll be a happy man.

For those who don't know, this episode was a spin-off of an old Twilight Zone episode. The basis of the story was the same... a little boy with essentially omnipotent powers controlled the lives of the people around him. The only difference was that the boy won in the Twilight Zone episode.

The Simpsons had a very funny spin-off of the same episode several years ago on a Halloween special.

Are you kidding? Obviously that was written into the episode.

I thought this one was pretty good. I really liked the one last week with Burt Reynolds though.

It's actually a short story by Jerome Bixby called It's A Good Life. It was adapted to the Twilight Zone. I read that story in high school as part of a Literature of Science Fiction course. That was a fun course! 🙂

NONONONO....I meant the WHOLE SERIES should have ended a year ago. They're really beating a dead dog here.

Well, give me a little credit -- I'm not stupid. Of course she was given those lines, but it was more her tone that I was getting at.
