Nah. Zim tends to nail it right at midnight (EST). 😛

Did anyone watch the Eureka pilot?

Its repeating tonight I believe.

Hmm... so it is. I'll have to set the DVR to record it. I sure hope it's worth it, since I'm craving another good sci-fi series.

So how will Rodney save the Atlantis team tonight?

I dunno about you but thats pretty close to #1 on my list of complaints with the SG1 franchise.

Rodney = Scotty, Geordi, O'Brien
Sheppard = Shatner + Riker

It was a bit amusing at first but there hasn't been any character development in any of the characters. The only one that has changed is/was Ford and he is no longer in the show.

the formula they used for atlantis is pretty similar to sg1. remember, they haven't had as many seasons as sg1 to develop the characters as much.

sheppard = oneall
ronan/tayla = teal'c
rodney = samantha

daniel isn't present as a single person, he is throughout a few people.

SG-1: Your standard "infection threatens to kill everyone" episode. Other than the Vala subplot, it was rather average.

Atlantis: Well there was a morally ambiguous episode. It was certainly a nailbiter, though I'm not sure I like how they used Michael in it.

Argh, missed it again!

I missed last week until I found it online, guess I need to surf for a torrent for the new one.

I was really pissed with how they treated Michael. They could have used a Wraith as an ally. He probably could have gotten the wraith mothership working and maybe even kept those converted wraith in stasis but instead they fvcked everything up and wasted another good ship.

The Vala subplot was awesome.
I love her and I love Daniel <3
And together they are even better. Like jelly and ice cream.

When Rodney announced taht the wraith ship needed the pilot to have the wraith genes like the ancient tech., I thought that would be Michael's role. I was thinking he was going to become a "regular".

As far as what actually happened to him; we don't know. There was no confirmation of his death; he could pop up again.

Yeah, I think it has potential. We'll just have to wait and see.

Looks like a big part of the underlying plot is going to be espianage (sp?) or sabotage. Unknown at this time who or what the "other side" actually is yet.

And he basically betrayed them in the ending of last season... I for one wouldnt trust him.
