I'm just glad they show SG1 again, right after BG. I'm going to be gone next Friday, and the Friday after, and can set the vcr's in the house to automatically record those for me!

Yeah, I know.....vcr's.......old school.....ancient technology......but hey, they're still pretty much idiot proof, and will turn themselves on and off by themselves, which I can't say for my htpc (at least not on......you can set 'em to shut down, but really don't want it running for the better part of 2 weeks while I'm gone).

Still feels a little weird to have Ben Browder and Claudia Black on Stargate. The chemistry is still kind of there, although the focus seems to be more on her and Daniel. There hasn't really been enough of Mitch Pileggi yet to see the character, but hopefully it will turn out to be a very interesting dynamic. Anyone have any thoughts on the new cast additions?

It seems that way. And what the heck is up with making SG-1 a cliffhanger again this week? I want some closure.

PS Someone needs to tell TCM that the proper resolution for a TV rip is 624x352, not 512x288. Where's LOL when you need them?

LOL, and Mitch Pillegi, too. If I was an actor that was on a SciFi show for a couple years, and then ended up getting a part on ANOTHER SciFi show a while later, I would have fun with it. Like if I were Mitch Pillegi, and we were filming a tense and dramatic scene where we are fighting the Wraith ships or something. I would all of a sudden scream out "Fvcking Krycek!". LOL. I'd be referencing characters from my old show all the time.

I thought SG1 kinda sucked as well until they got to their "other" bodies.... then it turned into a pretty good episode.

Atlantis did seem like a semi filler episode but 2 very important things were accomplished. #1 we needed to get to see more daedalus (we have this badass new ship and we need to get it some airtime and we did, that hangar bay was pretty sweet considering there will be 2x that many when you count the other side). And it was good to see hermoid (sp) will be a more permenant member on the show..... more asgard is always better. I wish they had dedicated a show to them "going back to earth" for real though. There were plenty of story lines to do there. Plus I felt that jump made it lose a bit of continuity seeing as there was around a months worth of time that passed.

BSG seemed to be a "letdown" as well compared to their opening show.... but thats to be expected for a second episode of a new season after resolving some cliffhangers from the previous season.
