My wife was happy as she really like beckett - No doubt in part to her finding him cure

Oh, and the SG1 movie "Ark of Truth" was pretty good too.

Great, now I am going to have to go looking for that....

It's not out yet. Anywho, I saw it a few months ago and it was very damned good. The effects weren't done, but I will be purchasing the DVD as soon as it's out.

The DVDrip is out with all the effects and stuff. I grabbed the earlier version but only watched a bit of it because sounds and some visuals were missing and I didn't want to miss out. This version is the full deal.

It was a very good episode, although it ended on a double sad note. It doesn't sound like the Tayla thing will be resolved this season however.:(

It annoyed me that the writers ignored Teyla's ability to control wraith, especially now that it's upgraded with Super Baby-Link Power (tm). They should've at least had her try to take over Michael and his minions.

I thought she only ever took over the queen, and that was because the queen wasn't fully operational.
Plus she might not want to risk her baby. Plus Michael might have made it so only he can control them.

Are you sure its power over all wraith? I thought it was just over a wraith queen?

How did beckett know to go up to the catwalk where teyla and michael were leaving?

So far they've only shown Teyla control queens (undersea and clone factory) but she linked with another wraith before that (not a queen IIRC) to spy on them and Michael linked with her to send the dreams.

The script would require her to fail with Michael, but I'd still expect her to at least try before letting Michael inject her and baby with who-knows-what.

Well, he was housed there at some point. He knew the facility by memory.

It was an odd episode, and I'm not quite sure what the point of the Beckett connection is. Ostensibly to stow him away to bring back in future episodes if they agree on a contract, but if that was to occur I'd rather he just come back in a flash than use up an episode for this intermediary step.

The season finale looks odd.
