In related news, SciFi picked up Amanda Tapping's web-only series Sanctuary for a full 13 episode run. This means there are going to be some shakeups for Atlantis, MGM will be announcing something Monday but it's sounding like they'll keep the Carter character around as a guest star, and give us another new base commander. (Please be Weir, please be Weir, please be Weir)

Weir is gone. No way repli-Weir can be put back in charge.
Tealc in charge?
Maybe Landry?

It'll be an existing character, that's for sure. We'll find out Monday.

As for tonight's episode, it was surprisingly good. We finally get a bit of background on Shep's family, and the fight between the two replicators was really nice.

It looked like the fights on Sarah Conner.
And notice how Sheps ex-wife was the Sliders chick Kari Wuhrer who looks pretty good for 40.

I think she looks better now then she did on Sliders.

Although she and Joe Flanagan are both 40, Joe looks like a young 30 and she looked too old to be his ex-wife.
Though I am smelling recurring role for Kari.

Good episode, but why can't they just use anti-replicator guns? Although that would have made for a much shorter episode.
