pretty good ep. I was kinda sad to see Clark together with her. I was hoping they would never be a couple.

I'm confused about Jason. So is he a bad guy now? What's his deal? Why did he want that lady to be dead?
 
jason and lana's families/ancestors are at war with each other and each has his/her own reason to require ownership of those three stones. don't forget, virgil swann's office also has an interest in the stones for clark kent's sake. jason is doing a ton of awful things, such as going behind his girlfriend's back (stealing the stone for himself) and killing a woman who obviously had a conflict of interest with him (and probably knew about the stone being in his possession).
