My guesses were Lionel or Chloe because they're not really in Clark's future according to any of the comics or past shows/movies. But I also thought they could get ballsy and get rid of Lana because they did introduce Lois last season, however they really could do anything they want I guess, however I've always remembered Superman with his parents intact and being some of the only people who know of Clark Kent's true identity. He's off in Metropolis saving the world while his parents sit at home on the farm enjoying retirement 😛 At the beginning of the show's life John Schneider was the biggest name actor...

They are going by the comic with this, though. In previous Superman eras the dad was long since dead before he put on the uniform.

I knew Johnathan was the most likely candidate, but I didn't think they'd really do him.
