Man, I watched most if not all of the first season of Eureka and then for some reason it dropped off my radar...I can't believe it's in its 5th season already.

At some point I should go back and watch them all over again.

Actually it's more like the 7th season since they broke up the seasons in order to avoid giving anyone a raise.

In any case this year is going to be interesting, if only because I have no idea what SyFy is up to. With a 14 episode order and the series starting in April, I'd expect them to break this up somehow. Probably 7 episodes, do Warehouse 13, and then run the final 7 episodes in the fall. Which on that note, SyFy is breaking up W13 like Eureka in order to keep costs down; it was "expanded" to 20 episodes, which means it was actually reduced to 10 episodes for this season.

Anyhow, this "four years later" bit has me worried. If this is another soft reboot I'm going to go stark raving mad.

Well, that kind of sucked. If it wasn't for Jack's jeep blowing up, you'd never know you were watching Eureka. It felt more like BSG, straight down to the soap opera relationships and the subtext to the audience to kill themselves.:p
