Ok, I must have missed something. I was seeing Brenden Fraser's character throughout the show, and then suddenly they're at his funeral. What did I miss?

fvck! I was watching 24. this new timeslot blows! :|

wtf? since when did the new season of scrubs start?

Last year...

The way I saw it, Brenden Frasier's character was kind of like an angel thoughout the episode...I dunno, kinda confused me too at the end.

when they were talking about the heart attack i think it was frasers character that died.

yeah it was kinda odd having him be dead. did NOT expect that. that was one of my favorite characters on the show. bummer.

AH! That's what confused me, because when he was talking about it, Fraser's character was right behind him the whole time.

Brendan Fraser died when Cox went to bail the clown out. He was just a figment of Cox's imagination throughout the rest of the episode as punishment. Nobody else interacted with him if you'll remember. You were meant to think that it was JD's other patient that died but it was actually Fraser.

BornStar's got it... It was a really good episode in my opinion. I was caught offguard by it. Its always good seeing John C. McGinley have some good scenes on that show... Scrubs is an amazing show.

Man, I never expected a comedy to be so deep.

Yep, it's always been deep though, relative to other comedies. I love the little voiceovers at the end by JD when he sums up the episode's important lesson.
