I've heard commentators even say 270 but yes he's not 280 but we both knew who he was talking about.

The same type of commentators that like to say Barkley was only 6'4...the drama queens of the media world.

That's pretty cool. Everyone knows Jordan was 6'6". Every picture I've ever seen of Barkley and Jordan standing together, they looked to be within a 1/2" of each other.

Pictures can often be deceiving because of angles etc. I know what you mean tho. For being such a great rebounder, I think it was a great enough story at the height he is - no need to embellish it and say he was 6'4 imo.

I can't see it possible in the slightest James is >260. Elton Brand is 6'8 260, not as tone as james but built like an oak tree and shorts much 'fuller'. (Espn has him at 6'9, 254, taller and lighter than previous years.)
