One of the very few shows on TV worth watching. It has the tendency to avoid the very tired tried and true schtick.

Hmm, it's a bit cheesy, though. In a bit of a good way, like Stargate was sometimes.

There is some new blond who I saw on the previews who looked pretty hot. At first I thought it was the sister, but I read somewhere its not.
I guess its a love interest for Carter. Or at least a love triangle if you include Allie.

I like Eureka but they need to tone down some of the tech stuff. They seem to always have a tech solution for everything by just making up some stupid name for a gizmo that was sitting in a closet. Also, I'm annoyed at how there are a few people there who know absolutely everything there is to know about everything.

Sci-Fi is awful about this shit. There haven't been any episodes since this spring, they're still using the 3xx numbering system, but they're calling it a "New Season." If their shows had an actual new SEASON every time they said it did, Stargate SG1 would've hit at least 18.

If Henry doesn't know it, his best friend and/or bitter rival does.

Well, Henry did help build Skynet, after all :D

AKA that fine redhead from SGA, Lt. Laura Cadman.:D

At any rate, I'm in full agreement that the numbering system is nutty. When you're on a one-year break, it's a new season. Season 3's miserable primary plot was wrapped up, so there's no sense keeping the same season number.

I only hope that without the rush of the writer's strike, season 4 isn't going to have as many awful moments. The show is still good, but the product placement and the fact that basically every episode was "Carter saves the whole town from being destroyed" was getting grating. The previous seasons were good about shaking things up with "lesser" problems like in H.O.U.S.E. Rules.

I wonder if they plan on pursuing the subplot where Carter and Allison were married, but that possible future turned out not to be. And Henry erased Carter's memory, and all that.

That's who it is? I knew she looked familiar.
Nice to see someone get a recurring role after being a pretty much one shot guest appearance.
I guess they had luck with Erica Cerra from BSG, so why not try another?

SyFy does one thing that I don't see other networks do. They have a "stable" of actors who they plug into their shows. It's can be interesting to see actors from other series in different shows.
I also remember the wacky Goauld who was a fat pig(and was great in the role) was the sheriff of Eureka before Carter.

It's not a SyFhilis thing, it's a British Columbia thing. All of those series are filmed in the BC area because of the low costs, and it just so happens that at some point you run out of locals. So you'll see people like Jaime Ray Newman show up in multiple shows, because that's who the experienced local talent is.

Just watched it.
Pretty good.
And they set a nice theme for what looks like the arc for the season.
I won't mention it since some may have not watched it yet.

Been waiting for this show to come back. Missed it tonight though because of other arrangements. Hope it's posted online soon.
