HOLY SH!T BSG WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! OH GAWD I CAN'T WAIT 'TILL NEXT WEEK ;PW984URA;SLDKJF

The whole thing was awesome. Wasn't it eerily similar to today's events? maybe how..err...nm. I really don't want to get this into a political discussion. But ya, I love how they showed the insight of the occupation, the hopeless resistance, the hope, loyalties, sacrifice, fear, etc etc.... umm.. i think i just jizzed because i was thinking of the show. arg, hold on...

ok back, ya, I can't wait until next week!

The mark of a good sci-fi show is how it handles current events. Sci-fi is often about exploring the human condition, it's only appropriate how modern situations are factored in, and possible solutions played out.

I too would've liked to see Baltar get shot. It would have meant he'd stood by his morals and convictions and done the right thing for once.

And is it just me, or is the Dean Stockwell and Xena models complete and total a-holes?

I guess President Baltar has to stay " to fight another day" like Number Six said.

Some changes noticed. "Helo" is now the XO of Galactica and if you notice Sharon is now Lt. Sharon Agathon; so she is married to "Helo" Karl Agathon.

Notice the BSG previews for next week show everybody in their "younger" pre-New Caprica days. Suggests either a flashback or maybe (and I pray not as it's one of the cheesiest cliches) a dream sequence.

yes it is a great series. and that episode was unbelievably good.

ya, he's a character that we love to hate, but I donno, I really really enjoy the character. Even though I hate it, his stay is crucial for the show. I just like what the character adds to the show. The actor plays Baltar really really well.

I just finished watching the two episodes. All I have to say that it is so amazing, so freaking amazing. I think Battlestar Galactica just went to the top of my favorite shows.

I read somewhere before the season started that he would be wearing a fat suit.

hah. i think its a fat suit. they never showed his face when showing the fat body - so i think that was a body double. but then again, apollo's face looks kinda fatter too...

and forget Lost, forget 24, BSG is now my favorite show ever. Nothing can beat the drama and suspense of this show! This show should really be nominated for the Emmys

I thought it Helo would be Karl "Helo" Agathon. I guess a lot can happen in 4 monthes in space.

I like the Cylons response to the "suspected" insurgents. It was cold, calculated and made for one hell of a cliff hanger.

Which was then ruined for the most part with the subsequent preview....

who did they show alive in the preview? I wasnt paying much attention during the preview part, but I recall seeing president Roslin. If she was the only character shown, then you gotta know she makes it thru alive...no way would they kill off a major character like Roslin. but then again, I hope they kill off Baltar. I cant stand his crying all the time

Well, since you already did the spoiler - Roslin was the main one. Of all the people the Cylons rounded up for execution, only Roslin, Callie, and Richard Hatch's character were of note. We saw Callie get away and Roslin alive in the preview. That just leaves Hatch's character up in the air.

No way... Baltar is one of the most interesting characters on the show. He has to stick around :p

Well at the end of Season 2 when the cylons came back it had been almost a year without war and Lee "Apollo" Adama was already getting fat. Now its 4 months after so he must be eating a lot to gain all the weight. Obviously its a fat suit.

For him to lose all the weight it would take a couple of months...
