The Cylons can't even risk an attack on Galactica now, it could be the end of their fleet just like that. They can just infect Sharon, kill her, and she resurrects killing every cylon in the fleet. The cylons would need to leave the resurrection ship behind or jump it out of there, and of course guarded. This effectively splits up the Cylon fleet in any battle scenario.

I'm def starting to feel the same about Stargate as many above have mentioned. I just re-watched the first 7 seasons--combined with the eigth, the last two don't hold a candle. Ben Browder and Claudia Black are very fun to watch, but it just doesn't feel like stargate.
I miss Jack, and I miss John "Surrender or Die!" Crichton. They have Browder so restrained on SG-1 that he's boring 🙁 . They need to save the galaxy one last time than close up shop.

Decent Dr. Who, very good Galactica.

love the music during cylon scenes.

Awesome how they play on the idea that maybe Baltar maybe a cylon. I guess this answers it.

How does the Battlestar Galactica have Artificial Gravity? How can one accomplish this on any spacesship. In other Scifi movies usually spaceships have like this round carousel that spins around to achieve Artificial Gravity.

Don't ask stupid questions.

Like,

1. How does everybody speak English, even the Cylons?
2. Why is there the noise of explosions in the vacuum of space?
3. Why in an age of hyperspace travel are they still shooting BULLETS?
4. Why was Starbuck driving a Hummer on Caprica?

Yeah, chances are, Sharon will die from the disease. The Cylons wouldn't think any of the cylon agents aboard Galactica would be infected so the resurrection ship would be close by so when she downloads the whole resurrection ship will probably become infected.

And now that I think about it, what was up with the dark-haired #6 on the infected ship? Shouldn't they all be blond?

It is nice to see that Baltar is the Cylon's problem now instead of the Colonials.

The man is an interstellar bad luck charm.

wow incredible episode. lots of happenings. currently all signs point to the cylons will soon get what they deserve. that artifact and its relationship to earth is really puzzling. if it really is that old and left by earth, why would it even have anything to do with the cylons which came into existence like only a few decades before the settings of the show? are they similar to a previous enemy?

Lots of things came to light that episode. Baltar's imaginary Six claims to be an Angel of God, does that mean Caprica Six's imaginary Baltar is an angel also?

Booze, Tyrol set up a still in episode 8. I like the call sign Athena for Helo's Sharron.

We knew from Boomer that the Radiers were semi-intelligent bio-mechanicals like a trained attack dog, the Centurians appear to be all mechanical (who really knows), and baseships that had a bio-mechanicals interior like the Radiers are too complex for a puny Raider braintype so they have a skinjob linked to all systems. The skinjob/toaster hybrid not only controls the ship but IS the ship. Best quote of the show "The hybrid objects." "She doesn't get a vote" I guess the skin jobs wear the pants.

OK the artifact, if you remember humanity (in the series) began on planet Kobol. After a conflict with the Gods the humans left Kobol in the direction of the original Caprica to settle on twelve different planets (in 12 different systems) forming the "The Twelve Colonies of Kobol". The thirteenth tribe was believed to have traveled in the opposite direction and settled on Earth. There has been no contact between Thirteenth Tribe and the other colonies since they left Kobol. Now the Thirteenth Tribe left the artifact in the nebula near the pulsars as a beacon for the other Twelve Colonies to find their way to Earth.

So how did they know it would be sought after there and why did they plant the Cylon disease? The Scrolls of Pythia of course. They were following the scriptures then just as the ragtag fleet is following them now. As Six told Baltar in the first season 'All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.', the Pythian prophecy, written 3600 years prior to present day BSG, referred to the exile and the rebirth of the human race. Cool.
