BSG is going to have a hard time coming out this week after the complete awesomeness that was last week's episode.

It's going to have a hard time period, it pulled an abysmal 1.4 rating last week.

Ya, 1.4 is well below anything they've hit before, never mind it's down at the same level that the Stargates are getting. It's rather odd though, the Stargates also hit their lowest ratings on the 4th episode of the season(1.3/1.4 for SG1/SGA respectively).
 
Well, they should have Dr Who, BSG, and the Stargates all on the same night, then it would be a true sci fri friday again. Hero's is a repeat from Monday, Dr Who is basically repeats if you've seen the BBC rips, which, lets face it, Sci-fis demographics most likely did. That just leaves BSG, which is pretty good this season, but the way they drag out the storylines I wasnt even sure they'd finally get rescued last week.

Theres also the possibility that people in general aren't watching sci-fi channel as much these days. This past season the stargates were as good as it ever was, and BSG is always solid, yet the ratings are down on all of them.

At any rate Childs, you may be right. On the other hand, shows like Lost and Heroes are taking an increasingly sci-fi like style, which may be causing real sci-fi shows to bleed viewers.

OMFG, Gaeta is a fvcking hero and they almost kill him! Grrr im so mad at those dumbasses! 😱 Great episode, can't wait to see what will happen to Gaias on cylon ship 🙂
 
wow that episode was intense. I'd say it was a good followup to last weeks superepisode.
It showed what people were going through after the occupation, and poor Gaeta! Gaeta is among my fav characters. I'm glad he gets more screentime, but damn 🙁. I was relieved when he didn't die.

Next week's preview looks pretty crazy too.

damn, this sucks, why isn't people watching the best show on TV? Fvcking Emmy's don't know what's good from what's garbage, since apparently, they only nominate popular shows 🙁
 
wow that was intense. ordered by the president...i thought that was faked till i realized it was the guy that was president, not rosalyn.
 
Great episode. I'm surprised and disappointed to hear about the declining ratings. The show is too intelligent for most folks I guess 🙁
 
It was a slow episode in my opinion but nessesary. It was funny when Commander Lee Adama said he had dropped half a stone. Then Admiral Adama said "Keep jumping".

They should tell the whole ship how Gaeta is a fraking hero.
 
Well I just started watching BSG again with the lack of quality sci-fi these days. Incredible series even though the sci-fi theme is really down-played. it's too bad that the sci-fi genre really seems to be dying these days.
