The Ood warn of a danger that spreads across the whole of the universe. On Christmas Eve, the Master is reborn.
Okay, so I'm a day late, but in my own defense, it's Zim's fault.:p

Note that I'm going from the original BBC airdates here. It airs on BBC America tonight (the 26th) at 9PM. Part 2 airs on the BBC January 1st, and BBC America on January 2nd.

Anyhow, it's a very (and unusually) trippy episode, so make sure you have your head on straight before watching it.

It wasn't very good until the end.

I like the idea of the Time Lords coming back
, but the rest of the episode wasn't very good. Definitely preferred "Waters of Mars".

Also, what was with all that hope in Obama saving the world economy crap? Are they still in love with him in Europe or something? It's kind of creepy to see that in Doctor Who as a focal point for the characters.

Thanks for posting this.
I have been completely screwing up my threads on Dr. Who thinking each of the last 2 specials were the last for David Tennant. However, with reasonable certainty I can say this is the last.

I am looking forward to the hand off to the new Doctor.

Worst Rescue Ever!

What a great episode. Probably one of the best of the new Doctor Who's I've seen. Who else watched it?

I enjoyed it, unlike the Waters of Mars.
The Waters of Mars seems to exist solely as a means to show the Dr. is afraid of regenerating and that he can get too full of himself without a Companion.

After a great ending with the DoctorDonna these last few standalones have kinda left me cold.

It's time for David Tennant to take his leave. He did a great job but its time to go.

I was very pleased to see Donna. At first I hated her, but she really grew on me as a Companion. I hope we get to see her get her memory back, at least for awhile in the second half of the two parter.

It would also be nice if we see Rose and Martha in this Saturdays finale.
