someone help me out here. I am trying to wrap my brain around this and I have also missed the last couple episodes since it moved to 10pm timeslot.
Humans created the cylons, how long ago in the past from the shows current events was this supposed to have occurred? A couple generations or something like a milennia?
Also it would seem these developments make Callie and the Chief's son a hybrid also.
Why wouldn't the doctors have noticed it?
Alot of plot holes to fill in I think...brain hurting....
Yeah, this is an annoying part about the whole concept of human cylons. It's implied, although never explained, that the human-like cylons are virtually identical to people. In Season 1, the president asks Baltar to find out a way to screen people to tell if they are cylons or not. That suggests that it's not as easy as poking them to see if they're full of wires. But there's also a scene where Boomer sticks wires in her arm to network with a computer, so... wtf?

One way to explain it might be to say there's something in their blood that allows them to interface with fiber optics (that's the connection it looked like Boomer stuck in her arm) consciously, but doesn't show up under standard blood tests - it may only show up under intense radiation bombardment or something, which is why Baltar needed the nuke in season 1.
Or I could just be pulling it out of my ass.![]()

The story for Heroes is already mapped out for 5 seasons. I enjoy the flow/continuity of that show; let's see how it holds up.

Still, Moore's comments about how they came up with the final 5 is kind WTFish. I thought I had read that they had a plan for the series beyond the mini-series that started it all....

Yeah, the plan was "the Galactica and Colonial remnant try to find Earth while being hunted by the Cylons. Sh*t happens along the way."

Battlestar Galactica's search for Earth continues to be an open-ended adventure, executive producer David Eick said.
Contrary to comments by Edward James Olmos (Adm. Adama) at the Saturn Awards on May10, no end has been announced for the award-winning show. Battlestar Galactica is preparing to film its fourth season, one that will include 22 episodes, rather than the previously announced 13.
"For those of you who have been paying attention over the years, this is not the first time Eddie has made an announcement about the possibility of the show's end," chuckled Eick. "I promise you that when [executiuve producer] Ron [Moore] and I make a decision about Galactica's future, we'll let you know."
