I'm still thinking one of the Boomer characters is the real one. Maybe.

How did the original series end?

IMDB has E.J. Olmos only on BSG for one year (2004), and making a movie as we speak.

It wouldn't be unheardof for an actor to have a change of heart and resign (or a studio to have a change of heart and offer more money) but ATM he's gone.

I don't think the 2004 listing in E.J. Olmos' imdb bio means anything. It's just the year of the TV show. If you look at Noah Wyle's imdb bio for example, it only lists ER as 1994 for him and yet, he's been on for like 11-12 years. I don't believe it's the last we'll see of Adama in the series.

They changed it a bit. :) You have to look by show, to see an ending date for actors now. Unfortunately, BSG is listed as in production, so no help. :( I hope he didn't die, he's my favorite character on the show aside from Starbuck.

He's dead. They put way too much blood to make him come back next season. There was blood all over the place.
