I have no idea what baltar is...he seems to be part of the cylon religion now and the head 6 seems to point to some kind of link to the cylons but honestly he's been so obvious a choice since the series began its hard to tell.

I don't really think so though. The starbuck connection just feels stronger since we KNOW she has resurrected and is something other then regular old human. That said, if she's a Kobolian then there's room for the baltar cylon as well.

Has anyone else noticed that Adama is taking a lot pills and seems to be in worse shape? My wife suggested that Adama is actually the "dying leader" from the prophecy.

John Hodgman was funny. Other than that, a weak episode. Seemed like an excuse to rattle off tons and tons of backstory without anything actually happening. Prime example of telling, not showing, which is especially bad given that it's a visual medium.

A lot of the mystery seem to surround Starbuck now. Whether she's #7 or not, she'll has to play a critical role in the end. Not to mention the harbinger of death bit.

That was a pretty good episode - just totally dense with a lot of information that was thrown out. I think I tend to favor the Starbuck = Daniel line of thought; it would explain all of the other weirdness surrounding Starbuck.

at least they had an insteresting way of putting back the starbuck storyline.

I am going to have to airlock my PC, I refuse to use a computer that would help the skinjobs :|

I'm so torn about this episode : Nothing happened, but a lot was revealed/explained.

I agree they went with the "lets tell the story instead of showing people". I think they at least put a decent story mechanic (Ander's getting show and having a bullet in the brain) - cliche but at least somewhat fitting given the backdrop of the mutiny and whatnot. They then got to basically spill the beans about what happened thanks to ander's memory being restored. I didn't really get starbuck, her behavior the whole episode was strange to me.

On the other hand: It doesn't appear like they've been carefully setting this episode/telling up. Having to explain where helen has been throughout the episode seemed sorta like a "well, we finished the mutiny/revolution story line, and now that we're done with that we're going to plug holes for the next part". I don't mind that they have a "miraculous" event that suddenly grants enormous amounts of information about the final 5, but that in conjunction with the backstory for helen just made the episode seem somewhat rushed.

The episode felt like a "yea, we could drag this story out over a couple or more episodes, but fuck it - we've teased you about the final five and we didn't even really know what/who they were but now that we do we just want to fit them into the story line and then we want to get onto more interesting things ".

Overall though I'm glad that's behind them for now and hopefully the next episodes will move us forward.

I love backstory that explains things, so i liked this episode.

I'll have to watch it again though...some stuff i didn't catch that'd been explained here helps.

There only like 6 episodes left, they've got to condense story telling in some manner to get it all out.
