Anyone vid cap it?

No, but I just watched it :)

I forgot to set my VCR! :(

What's a VCR?

, so you can sell it to get a pvr!

I don't need another monthly bill! :(

Just get a TV Tuner card, like a Hauppauge PVR-150. They can be had for < $100 and will record in great quality with little to no cpu usage. :)

I suppose I need to hook up the cables and install the software for my AIW card!

I used to have an ATI TV WONDER card... the software was horrible... not even a scheduler to my recollection. I finally got the Hauppauge 150 card this summer and it's amazing what I could do with it. I record things in "DVD quality" and it definitely takes little CPU since it's hardware encoding. WINTV 2000 is great for me too... despite what everyone says.

The ATI was software encoding and it lagged everything... plus the recording quality was nowhere as good.
