You're bumping your own doom. Theft is a crime.
At no one's loss if he watches it later on.

He is missing the commercials! That's how TV shows get their money to pay for their actors and bottled water and prosti...expensive stuff. If everyone skipped the commericals, there would be no TV!!!
As long as he leaves his TV on, he's fine. It shows up as a viewer to the station whether or not he's actually watching. It just has to be on.

About this stealing issue... I've read that it is illegal to "share" (aka distribute) shows if they have not been OUT of syndication for at least 1 year.

Basically, feel free to download, just don't share. BT is thus questionable... even though I couldn't care less.

BTW, tonight's show.. while powerful in drama, is a total bore with action scenes.

I've been doing this with Buffy & Angel. Eventhough I download them over a day before they air, I still watch them when their on broadcast TV.

Well it's especially nice for those nights when my local cable doesn't broadcast smallville due to stupid college BB games, and since 24 and smallville are on at the same time. It's just convenient.
