So, I came home from work and the wife and kids were gone until later this evening. I was going to go for a jog, but figured I should really take advantage of their absence in a spectacular way. So I took a two hour long nap. It was amazing.
The single life is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't trade what I got to go back there.

not really. Some of us just dont like people. I am a home body and I love being at home with the wife and kids. Kids go to bed around 9 so I can always spend a few hours with the wife so we get quality time.

I do miss MMOs. Aint nobody got time for that shit anymore.

Having gone from married life to single life you're not missing anything. Women play games and fapping loses its appeal quickly.

Nap? Every chance I get away from the wife and kiddos involves mountain biking or snowboarding.

You must live on a mountain. Your wife goes somewhere for a few hours and you grab your gear and go snowboarding or mountain biking? Every time? lol. I can't do that.
The nearest snow from here is like 2 hours away or something. The nearest mountain is 1 1/2 hours away. I live in a cement jungle, with nothing but concrete for 100 miles in all directions.

I live next to mountains... A few hours gets me a ~20 mile mtn biking ride.

My kids are only 5 months...admittedly a nap might be more appealing as they get older.

5 months? Oh man, you are still adjusting. Yeah you better go play on that mountain every chance you get. When they get to be between 1 and 4...well, you'll see.

I am sure I have a lot of adjusting to do. Makes me happy and sad at the same time.

Nature has a way of helping you adjust. When they are young like that, they stay where you put them. You adjust to having something being totally dependent on you. But later, they are mobile, so you add another layer to your adjustment phase. At that point, they are suicide machines and you have to keep them alive. Your level of alertness and attentiveness will need to increase as they get older.
