Are these still made?
The stoboscope types are OK but I would rather have the tone cut record actually playing so we can adjust the motor drive to zero beat as our signal source is perfectly accurate. This would also account for stylus drag which isn't a lot with 2g tracking but you never know.
1000 Hz would be ideal. I know not many people bother with LP's any more but I know this turntable is turning too fast. Paul Simon sounds like he's been huffing the balloons! Alright maybe not THAT bad but it's noticeable.
