ONLINE and B&M

Finally a great GPS below $300 mark.
Some may argue Tele Atlas is not as good as Navteq, but I bet the different now.
You can order the 2007 new edition TomTom map for FREE ( $6 shipping ), if you bought their unit.
http://www.tomtom.com/products/maps/?Lid=4

Version 665 of Tele Atlas has better POI data base compare to Navteq Version 8, in comparison w/ TomTom 510 vs Garmin C330.
(at least in Seattle area, Tele Atlas has most of retail store corrected. And if rescue, 911 using Tele Atlas in the U.S., I am sure it should be good enough for most of us)

p.s. if you are charming enough, you may able to use that $30 off $150 purchase. :)

You can also PM at staples and if you have their latest catalogue use the $30 off coupon for purchases of $150 or more. I'm not sure if it works online, but that should drop you down to under $220 which is an amazing price for the TT ONE. The maps for the tomtoms are definitely newer if you get the free map upgrate as well. The ONE is a really slick unit too, very small, portable and I found it very easy to use.

Just like to add: TT1/510/910 all come w/ Bluetooth.
All using newest SiRF III chip set. (very responsive)

TT1 using 1100mAh Li-PO battery, lasting no more than 100 min. (can fully charged in less than 40min) currently no replace battery can be bought.

510/910 using 2400mAh Li-ion, last little over 4 hours.
Battery can be easily replace by yourself. (or upgrade to 2600mAh) for around $10.
Battery is Type 18650, 3.7V.

Garmin: C3xx series using older 12 Parallel chipset. (C5xx using SiRF III) Both series also using Type 18650, 3.7V Li-ion battery.

Garmin Nuvi using SiRF III , battery can be replace by modified iQue battery. (cost around $70)

i haven't used a nuvi, but i really like the 910 myself. i had used a tt ONE before and liked it, but having the mp3 player is awesome because i'm huge into music. i had no problem using it right out of the box and its got all that i'd want in gps device
