The Crossover 404K is cheaper, uses the same panel, and has a PWM-free backlight (the Philips uses PWM). Of course, you won't get the same quality of post-sale support from a Korean vendor that you will from Philips.

If you time it with 4 or 5x ebay bucks and when it is on sale for $490 u can get it close to $400 The crossover 404k

I've had mine for a couple of months now. Still haven't gotten use to the size. It's a great monitor if you want a great amount of space without having to deal with multiple monitors.
