For a street car and trucks I have bought nothing but Fords because its a better design .
But under no circunstances well I build a Ford to race with even though I believe its a better design .
The reason for this is I know that I can get everthing that Chevy has out of it.
If I switched to Ford I would have to go threw a learning curve and I would not be doing the Ford justice.
Sure in time I would get it. But I am a old dog that really has know desire to learn new tricks.
Stick with what you know and give it your best shot . Thats the only thing I can do.
When I started racing forty years ago Everybody was running Big block Chevy's, Fords and Hemi's.
I was 1 of the first ones to see the potentical of the small block chevy's . My first year A completely dominated racing with I small block chevy. It completely shocked everybody. So I have stayed loyal threw good times and bad times . Trust me there's been plenty of bad times.

Are you sure David wrote this???
Well he is your true mate....YOu spelled know "NO" in all of your threads and he spells No "know"....He is the ying to your yang....
That is still blind faith...Companies change, designers come and go, and products change...you cannot base your opinion on any company but most specifically the fast pace world of high tech gear on products several generations ago.....
I based the fact I didn't want to go INtel for my upgrade from the northwood (I belive was a great cpu for its tima and against the XP line of chips) on heat, power, and the overall idea clock for clock I was perhaps slower then where I was coming from....Would this keep me from buying INtel cpus and always seem them as heaters, power conumers, etc...NO!!!! I will very much look at a yonah...i wont look at a smithfield cause it is just double the displeasure I have with the prescott....
Leave your door open...CPUS are not like racing and engines....The learning curve is not that tough jumping from one to another...What the heck do you really need to know, and if you did know anything what could you do any differentt?? Sure they may function slightly different but since he doesn't work on these like an engine what the heck does he care...
If he wants to hinge on stability and reliability that is fine...That makes much more sense. However to have deep seeded hate, and the lack of even considering AMD is just plain stupid.
