Couldn't agree more with the first one, but it's kind difficult to do so because you can't please everybody. I wouldn't want to be someone I'm not, which people like #1 tend to be IMO. (my experience)

I disagree.. there are some things people can't change. If you don't like doing something, or acting a certain way, forcing "self-change" is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. I think there is something to be said for changing not yourself but what is around you--people, your career, etc.-- to fit the type of person you are.

Yeah, but if you're a certain way that does not attract the kind of people you want to attract, then I'd say it's up to that person to want to change into somebody that will afford themselves more opportunities to become successful with other people and their career.
