are you sure about those model numbers?
You're gonna have to be a little more specific. Am I sure how?
I dont know which computer Best Buy is selling, I was just taking a guess.

But the model numbers you see on the website are all accurate, the problem is they dont sell direct. You have to search around for them at a BB, CC or CompUSA.

The ones you linked are AMD versions. Most AMD systems have a upgrade path. The cheap worstbuy celeron system does not, like most intel celeron systems.

the reason i ask is becuz i have been unable to find the model numbers for the BB systems. the ones you linked def seem to have "beefier" specs. and as marlin mentioned, the BB $150 rig was a celly based system, and the ones u linked were amd based. i dont have high expectations for that system, but for $150.... it's really not too shabby. win xp home by itself would costs a pretty penny (figuratively speaking).

Uhh didn't you check out the link I posted above to Bestbuy? Takes a while to load but the model is a T3406 and only has regular PCI slots. No PCIe or AGP.

What's the point in buying it? What are you going to use it for?

its prolly a decent system for web browsing and word processing. def not a power users rig.

I wouldn't even use it for web browsing.

I've been browsing the web since I had a 233mhz system. It was more than enough power back then to go to yahoo, espn, and all the other sites.

I'm currently typing this on my sister's 800mhz system, if you can't get by with such a system you're either a tech elitist, or your system is completely bogged down by spyware.

w00t i got one but damn i had to wait in the cold from 1030 to 5 am for one. some people had been waiting over 12 hours.
