Well theres only one update left after this. hes now moved onto seizures.
For those of you now joining the thread, my grandpa had a blood clot that passed to his heart, no oxy to the brain, now in a coma and seizuring. My moms plane leaves in about 3 hours to MI.
Thanks for your prayers, but it appears to be al done now. my mom is in charge of the whole life support, living will thing as she is a nurse.
Ill update in a day or so.
Update 4/16/04
Tomorrow the 17 my mom my uncle and my grandpas wife will meet and decide my grandpas fate. At this point he has been in a coma for 2 days, and has only a smidge of brain activity. AT this point removing his breathing tube will almost likely kill him. Even if he does breathe on his one. There is hardly a chance he can regain any gag reflexes, or any physical or mental feelings, let alone develop a thought. SO that means, vegetable and feeding tube. He was against that. So tomorrow morning the tube comes out. If he magically awakes, then woohoo the day is saved. If he doesnt he has only the slightest chance of even being kept artificially alive. (wich wont happen)
