Tomorrow is my parents 25th wedding anniversary (actually, it's in a few hours). I was thinking of taking them out to a really nice resteraunt (they want the family to go I think), and possibly renting a limo.

What would you do?

I sent them a gift certificate to a fine restaurant down in Houston. I more than covered their meal. It was the best I could do since we are over 1000 miles apart.

I'd leave them alone and let them celebrate in their own way Viper0329 :D

I consider an anniversary a private thing not a family event.

1) Give them some space, if you live at home disappear for the night and make sure they know you will not be around

2) Remind them that this time to remember prophylatics. ;)

Get ready for them to announce their divorce.

Both my parents and my wifes divorced in their 25th year of marriage.

Write them a nice note saying "you're cool parents" or "these are some good things I remember about some of those 25 years" or something like that. Parents like that kind of thing. I'm a parent.

Although (IMHO) the best 25 anniv. gift we got was 25 6-packs of beer. Yum.
