Mike Brey and Jeff Capel are counterexamples....although Jeff Capel didn't actually coach under K, he only played under him.

Good to see the patience in him, altho he deserved to be fired at this point. Michigan is a high profile school, should get excellent recruits, and has been shameful to not be in the ncaa tournament lately.

He did some good things for the program, but after 6 years it's getting kinda old of Michigan not being in the NCAA tourney. I still think of how good the program could have been if Pitino would have taken the job 6 years back instead of Amaker.
