Tomb Raider - The Movie

Was this flick any good? Is it worth buying (I figure if I'm gonna shell out 4.50 to rent... might as well buy, then sell on ebay or let a bunch of friends borrow it... more cost effective)?

I just saw it this morning (had to return it to Blockbuster by noon). I thought it was a good movie, tho' not something I'd likely watch more than once.

Not something I'd watch more than once.

There are better action movies out there if you just want to see fighting...and it had very little in the way of a plot...and if you are really *that* into Angelina Jolie, your 2 hours would be better spent on the internet looking for pictures, that will provide with much more satisfaction in that direction than the movie will.

Definately not worth buying....but you might as well rent it and watch it once, it's okay.

I rented it last night. I guess it was worth renting, but it's one of those watch one time movies so just rent it, don't buy it. nothing spactular.

Right... got it. I think I'll wait for one of my chump friends to buy it and I'll borrow it. I'm usually the one with the huge DVD collection that everyone mooches off of (that's ok with me)... but this time... I'll turn the tables around.

Well put Jolie in the place of Harrison Ford with some new scenes and you have Tomb Raider.
I thought it was ok, but only because it had Jolie in it. And I agree with Jfur, I wouldn't buy it.

It was better than I had expected it to be.. if I found it cheap anywhere I'd probably pick it up. Though I like having an extensive movie collection.
