Tomato (firmware) Scheduler question

I am trying to figure out exactly what the Reconnect schedule option does in the Tomato firmware that I loaded onto a WRT54GL router. I get the Restart scheduler, but not sure if Reconnect is a simple Release/Renew trigger, or if it is actually bouncing the WAN port.

Anyone know?
