i have tomato 1.23 & 1.27 running on a asus wl520gu. this has worked flawless for months, and then i think when i changed the setup to be an access point + wds and used another linksys router w/ tomato 1.23 on it as repeater the bandwidth logging stopped.

i can see the "real time" bandwidth, but not the "last 24hrs" or anything other than real time. my network shares where the logs go are still perfectly fine and nothing has changed on that end. last night, updated to 1.27, changed it to just an ap w/ no wds but still no bandwidth history. anybody know what could be causing the issue? other than that, all still works fine, just in the bandwidth history i get this "The rstats program is not responding or is busy..."

I haven't run into your specific issue as I don't use a second one in bridged mode. But I have seen the "The rstats program is not responding or is busy..." message before.

Typically rebooting the router will fix this issue. I've found that this issue sometimes comes up when the computer that the logs are stored on is turned off or the router doesn't have the correct username/password to login to the computer.

thanks for the info. the more i think about it, i was able to watch the 2nd one at the beginning too for bandwidth, so for a while both were logging. as far as the computer to where the data is being stored, it does show the share is mounted and the size and amount left space is accurate. i have rebooted but still have the same issue. i am hoping linksysinfo site comes back online because this is the first issue i have seen w/ this firmware and it is kind of weird that is happend on 1.23 and then 1.27, so i am thinking i must have something set up incorrectly, but just can't figure out what. i really don't want to wipe out the whole install w/ all of my setup because there are quite a few w/ mac addresses allowed, ports, qos, etc.

I do not know if it is related.

If the Asus is the main Wireless then the WDS has to be Off.

Only the actual Repeater Wireless Device should be set to be WDS.
