They didn't say that. It just says that if the tomatos have nicotine in them, it would make them deadly poisonous. Whether that means you'll have to eat 1 tomato, or 10..

You are 1/2 right at your nitpick.

They said that IF the tomatoes have tobacco then 1 tomato would have enough nicotine to kill you.

An im not going anywhere near a guy who would actualy try to grow such a thing 😉 so i wont be testing it anytime soon.

Of course tobacco has nictone, but cigarette companies spray it with additional nicotine during processing.

Now if he could come up with a Tomoffee plant, people could start drinking V8 for their morning fix. 😉

I agree...the tomacco episode was hilarious.

Some of my favorite scenes were:
The one where apoo is scoring with the girl who delivers duff beer...at least i think its duff.
I laughed so hard when he said "You must have had less than 7 children"
Or the episode in vegas with the slogan "loosest craps in town"
I remember those scenes like they were yesterday.
 
This is great, the tomacco episode is one of my favs from the Simpsons.....

"Crane you neck upward now to save time"

"Props to Mindy on the grab.......... booyah!"
 
Sad thing is that SOME idiot in the US will grow it and eat it and (IF it contains the amount of nicotine that the guy in the clip thinks might be in there) the eater will die and Fox and anyone that has anything to do with The Simpsons will be sued for millions.

I hate people..
