Tom Leykis, the shock jock who's words "more tail for less money" "flash fridays" and "Leykis 101" is back on the air, but not on your radio, but on the internet.

http://www.blowmeuptom.com is the website, his first show is today April 2nd at 3pm PST. You can listen in on tunein app on iphone/android too (search leykis).

Basically after getting screwed out of a show by CBS who replaced the hot talk format for the amp'd format (music), tom was off the air for the last 3 years. A lot has happened in the last 3 years. A lot of pussification has happened, his words, not mine.

It is going to be interesting. I was listening to the testing stuff this weekend, though it wasnt a show, it was quite fun listening to all what he can and cant say. Remember no network feed as yet, so there are no bars, he can say the F word as many times as he wants.

Just thought you folks might want to listen.

I am a Leykis fan - will be tuning in.

A popular and long-running feature of the show was "Flash Friday," lifted from Opie and Anthony, in which men were encouraged to drive with their headlights on and women were encouraged to expose their breasts to such vehicles.[2][44] The feature began as a one-time bit; while on the air, Leykis recalled a radio host he listened to as a child, who asked his listeners in New York apartments to flash their lights on and off and then to look outside to see how many neighbors were doing the same, as a way to gauge the audience size. Leykis asked his listeners to do the same with their car headlights, and a few minutes later, jokingly suggested that women flash their breasts. A listener called in to report that he saw a woman flashing fellow drivers, and it became a regular feature of the show.[45] Both women and men commonly called during the Friday broadcast to alert other listeners as to their location, and to recount stories of flashing or being flashed, respectively.[46] When Flash Friday began, cars with daytime running lights were relatively rare, and Leykis was able to comment that a few cars have daytime running lights, but they're mostly driven by old people, so before you flash someone whose lights are on, you should make sure it's not an old person's car driven by an old person.

A dude I use to car pool with listened to him every day. I always wondered if any of his male listeners ever actually followed his asinine advice.

He's too arrogant for my tastes. Plus he needs to hit the gym, too much "fatification" for a guy who talks so much crap.

Most if it is meh, but I like listening to him and most the time he's just being "real". To many people are emotional now a days so I think that's the biggest reason he pushes buttons or comes off as an idiot.

I remember his show, it was the first show I regularly listened that wasn't hosted by a "right-wing wacko or convicted felon"

I loved his show. He was pure entertainment. If he was on Howard 101, itd be crazier.
