Tom Leufken Peltier kit questions ..

I have the kit, and plan on installing it with a GlobalWin FOP-38 to see how it works. 2 questions:

1) is the rubber retaining mechanism good enough?

2) what are those little tiny metal clips for? they are kind like this: __\ and there are 2 of them. anyone know what they're for?

i beleive those clips are to hold the heatsinks over the peltier and cpu (clip the HS to the socket)

actually, i found a blurb on a site where they sell those kits:

"NOTE: Now included are two wire extensions for the socket clip, to allow for the additional height of the peltier and cold plate."
