Tom Clancy dead at 66 years old

I don't know how much influence Tom Clancy had on the games bearing his name but I thought maybe it was relevant here since he co-founded red storm entertainment.

Last night Tom Clancy passed away in a Baltimore area hospital. I don't see any details on whether he had been sick for awhile or not. His books have been made into some of the most memorable action/political thriller type movies for me. He was not that old really

It's a shame, yes. But I believe Tom Clancy sold the trademark to Ubisoft years ago. They could make "Tom Clancy's Prancing Pony Adventure", and Clancy's estate would just have to sit back and take it.

He did sell it for crazy money though. Something like a 100 year deal on using his name.
