So I clicked the 16:10 aspect ratio in VLC this morning while watching my Tom and Jerry DvD, and noticed that the 2 are Superior in Cuteness stretched.

Tom and Jerry is the best show ever put on film, bar none. Better than any movie or television show. Other than their educational cartoons like Dora the Explorer, Dragon Tales, etc, Tom and Jerry is about all I allow my kids to watch.

My son is hooked on it, and watches it all the time. I watch with him a lot, and frankly I never get tired of it. Can't say that about anything else on the TV.

The best Tom & Jerry was the one where they were shooting fireworks at each other and Jerry ended up tying Tom to a rocket and launching him.

haha ya me too!!! i have that on tape somewhere arg. I used to watch that episode over and over again. It was something about using things around you to use as mobile weapons that got me hooked hhaha. That episode was kind of A-team-ish.

I don't have a specific favorite I can think of right now, but IMO the best Tom & Jerry cartoons are the ones produced by Chuck Jones in the mid/late 1960's ... some of the funniest cartoons I've ever seen!

Chuck Jones was amazing... I liked the T&J where they were on the space station and were chasing each other with all kinds of weird high tech gizmos.
