Toilet clogged.

My question is.. what will I do if the acid doesen't work? Will it eat through my toilet? lol...

Already tried that, put 9/10 of the bottle in the toilet.. It's been in there overnight, I'll go plunge some more and see if it clears.. but it's not looking good.. lol
 
Acid will etch your toilet. Not a good idea on porcelain unless youre resurfacing the thing. Try a drain king maybe or be ready to pull the toilet out and look.
 
A few simple steps to clearing that tough clog.

1. Go eat lots and lots of Taco Bell
2. Go home, sit on the offending toilet, and make an airtight seal between j00 bum and the seat.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!!

Just plunged for 5 minutes, no change.

What are the steps for pulling the toilet? Will I need a new base gasket? Do I need to drain the toilet first?

Yeh, youll need a new johnny ring.

Turn water off

flush toilet( unless its clogged)

Clean water out of tank

unbolt from floor and check what type of ring you need.

Check for obstructions in the toilet itself ( I was an apartment maintenance man for a few years, You be amazed at the things you find)

Try the snake again with the toilet off and like i said before, a big drain king.

probably one of those nasty wax rings..

I had to pull our toilet up a few months ago..
Found out my wife flushes those "smell good" incense sticks down the toilet..
It was clogging ours up for the longest time, and I just couldn't figure out why 🙂
 
So where did you try to snake from? A snake should do the trick. Remove the trap from the drain under the sink nearest the toilet and snake from there if you didn't already.

The actual problem may be a dozen feet away from your toilet. No amount of Drano, acid, etc. will do any good unless it can reach the clog. You could always call a plumber.
 
Use more draino, and the gel. I ate two mcdonalds cheeseburgers the other month and fell asleep in the shower laying down. I woke up to gagging and threw up half eaten mcdonalds and clogged it.

It took 5 full extra strength doses! But let me tell you, when that thing opened up it was like a hoover vacuum sucking noise, it was crazy.
