well, i can see the difference between a glove and a mitt for the hands, so why not a foot mitt (sock), and a foot glove? (toe sock). i mean, from a practical point of view, think of the increased dexterity your feet (toes) would have. if you dropped a pencil or other such object on the floor, hey, just slip off your shoes and grab'um with your toe-socked toes. great for saving your back, dont'cha think? and just think about when you're out on a date...the uh, possibilities are uh, are... enormous? j/k twx2

hey, yo mama, you beat me to it, cool.

toe socks are just a fad...something that's cool to have. mittens keep your hands warmer than gloves. but we use our fingers alot. so we use gloves as well. other then the example that tweaker2 gave, i don't think there are any practical uses for toe socks...

Are we related? I hate things between my toes. I have to buy the same type of sock or they annoy me. Shoes are a hassle. That is why God invented Birkenstocks and loose tennis shoes.

The first time I saw my girlfriend wear them, I couldn't stop laughing, they looked so strange.
