Here is my toe a few days after snowboarding with boots a little bit too small for me. I had forgot to clip my toenails before hand and they pushed against the tip of the boot all day. One of my big toe nails was separated when I took off the boot. The other one just felt a little sore. So a few days went past and it was looking quite red. So I decided to pull up on the nail and some nice puss came out and this is what it looked like:

My roommate looked at it, gaged and said "OMG thats the nastiest thing Ive ever seen. Let me take a picture."
 
OMG!!! I think I saw the Virgin Mary in there. Pull it the rest of the way off and EBAY it.
 
I ended up having to cut it off piece by piece because it would not separate itself totally from my skin.

I think it looks like it wants to say something in that picture.

A better question is why would you click on a image called "toeofdoom.jpg" which was obviously something gross if you didn't want to see it? Its labeled "Not for the weak."



Edit: oh and that happened a while ago and is already back to normal. Never thought to ebay it 😀
 
..I think I'd go to the doc and let him yank that nail and get it overwith. Go get some new shoes.
 
Ok, I talked to my friend who has a few pics of his toe that was WAAAAAAAAY worse than the pic above. I think his was due to a combination of an ingrown toenail and some big dude stomping on his foot while playing basketball. Check back later for pics (if you can handle em), he said he would post them once he got home.
 
LOL- just showed this to my wife and she thinks your other toes look nice. Heheheh- she's such a "glass half full" person 🙂
