Well so far her offspring may be alright. We'll give that one the benefit of the doubt.

I had 2 european roommates in college, and they survived for 2 years on ketchup and cooked pasta. So I guess its not that wierd. :p

On a more serious note, this B!tch should be shot in the skull.

Can we just have her transferred to a male prison for a few weeks? (after she is sterilized of course)

Very smart little girl, very stupid mother. Trying to think if I would have been smart enough to do that when I was two, probably not.

That is just wrong! Talk about doing damage to a kid. How would you deal with surviving on dried pasta/rice ketchup for 3 weeks? With no human interaction, thinking you were possibly stuck there by yourself for good.

Now I would give the kid props if they had gone over to the neighbors or called 911..... scavenging for food isnt neccesarily a sign that they are brighter than their mother :-/

She probably survived the ordeal because I am sure she received very little nurturing from the mother. The toddler probably learned to be self sufficient early on.

the baby found comfort in the bathtub. poor substitution for motherly care (as little as it was), but still a substitution?

Damn, that's disgusting. :disgust:

yeah, agree with the original poster, ppl who do this kind of thing should lose the right to ever have kids (again).

Truly sad part is that if she had divorced the father (never mentioned), the courts likely gave her custody without a second thought.

I'm not surprised she lived on it, I mean.. pasta has a pretty high calorie content.

Sad though. :(

That is really sad. I have a 3 year old. I could never ever do that to her. Good that the little girl was resourceful. 2 week?!??!?!?! That broad needs to go 60 minutes in a steele cage with Brock Lesnar and Big Show. No Mercy

not saying the mother wasn't wrong, but I am wanting to her if she tried to notify someone in jail that she had a daughter.

also I am surprised the police department, who should have known she had a dependent, didn't verify care for it. Say they shot and killed the mother, would that be any different to the outcome of the baby?
