Enjoy.

I tore it up yesterday at the range.

Put 26 rounds from my XD 45 standing at 50 meters into a man sized target fairly easily. Made me happy.

What happened with those shots that wound up in the lower right corner?

Thats from another gun, a .358 Win I think. Scope magnification was limited on that gun hence the spread. Location was intentional though since we couldn't really see the target centers anymore.

Yeah its fun. I played with the AR15 a little at 25, 50, and 100 yards with iron sights. Made a hole the size of a quarter at 25 yrds (ie: with a .223 bullet = lots of bullets in the same place) but my groups spread out to about the 7 ring on the 100 yard targets. I need practice with iron sights... but hopefully thats enough to still knock down steel pop ups out to 300 yds, I'll have to try that later.

Nice shooting. I carried a .308 Winchester for most of my 22 months in Vietnam courtesy of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children... .308 holes make airy souls...

M14? I'm thinking that will be my next purchase, a new Springfield M1A or if I can find one for a decent price with the original drop forged receivers.
