Todays macro images

I decided to go take some pictures again, todays subject is... Bees! :)

I had a lot of fun taking these... hehe. I learned that you need TONS of patience taking pictures of them, since you have to be quick and steady for you to have a clear picture. For some reason when I was using manual mode on my Canon G3 the pictures turned grainy, was dissapointing... but they are still cool looking.

You were prolly running 400 ISO... Crank that down to 50 and those would look perfect.

nice, if you have a magnifying glass around the house, you can put it in front of the lens to get better close-ups (without having to go buy close-up lens) fun stuff to experiment with :)

Meosh- try playing around with a shallower depth of field (lower f-stop) it'll put the focus more on the subject and blur the distracting backgrounds
