I had another WTF dream last night (after watching Freddy vs. Jason, mind you) that I was going around with some female buddy trying to get out of a building. I came upon these 2 chick dolls and I fuct them up real good by picking them up by their feet and bashing their faces against metal railings. It was quite brutal. Then as we are about to exit, I open a door to see a some creature holding a machete... I promptly attempt to chop his right arm off before he could swing that thing at us...

Couldn't tell you a damn thing about what any of the doors said or any signs along the way.

Actually, I'm reading this from a more credible source: The Oxford Encyclopedia of Psychology (1998 edition). It's in the section on lucid dreams. It says you can not read printed words while dreaming. However, a lot of reading is done through memorization, so you may be able to recall text that is printed on familiar objects.

I'd love to know how they tested that.
