LANTANA, Fla. -- An F1 bengal cat is on the loose in Lantana, according to the founder of Spots and Stripes Bengal Cat Rescue.
Rescue officials tell CBS 12 the animal went missing from the cat's foster home in Lantana, right behind Lantana Middle School.
As an F1 bengal, she is almost 50 percent asian leopard cat, which is a wild cat. The cat weighs 10 pounds, but she is not friendly with most people yet. As such, rescue officials say should someone approach her wrong she could bite or scratch. Her teeth and claws are very sharp, and the more stress she is under, the higher the chances of becoming aggressive.
The cat's name is Cinderella and she is four-years-old. She is not wearing a collar nor is she micro-chipped. If you see the cat call your local police department or rescue officials, 561-541-1467.
