Today's cringeworthy commercial

You think THAT'S cringe worthy? How about any of the recent KFC commercials. Whatever prompted them to get a 'colonel' who comes off as a sleazy pedophile?

I don't understand how these got greenlit...the production quality is like what we shot in college for learning how commercials were filmed. The writing is off, the acting is off, the editing is off, the cinematography is off, even the whole vibe is off...they don't even focus on the product, you can hardly see the food! And it's not like they're pulling an Old Spice where it's a character you can get behind & create a viral meme type of following. Wow. And there's more of them! 😀

the car ad is stupid but I don't see the problem with the KFC ones, except the fake theater/gas station one.

i'd say the commercial has worked very well.

OMG so much this. One of the most ill-conceived campaigns I've ever seen, though I didn't get the pedophile vibe. There is definitely something way off though.

People said the same shit about those rat commercials for Quiznos. Guess what? I haven't been to Quiznos since, but at least I'm talking about it, right?

doesn't matter if you specifically have or haven't been there, you're now advertising for them, spreading the word for them even more.
