that's good man. I eat mainly wheat bread, egg whites(egg beaters), protein bars and shakes(atkins stuff), drink nothing but water(10-12 glasses everyday), lean bacon, chicken, turkey, lean ham, yogurt, jello, dark green leafy salads, fruits (bananas, apples, oranges, strawberries). Stuff I stay away from is white bread, white flour tortillas, pasta, fried foods=(, microwave meals (hot pockets, etc.). Mainly just trying to eat low carbs and lots of protein. I try and keep my carbs below 130g/day and try and eat at least 130g of protein/day all with under 1500 calories. I had my RMR done(resting metabolic rate) and I can eat at least 1950 calories/day. I'm using this program called Balance Log to help me keep track of my daily calorie intake, which includes protein, carbs, and fat. It's a great program. I highly suggest it. I'm not a big treadmiller as some are in here. I do 2 miles/morning in 30 minutes. I also do some abdominal crunches before walking and also do some stretching beforehand. I eat a lot of protein right after walking so jumpstart the metabolism. It's been working for me anyway. I've got about 27 more pounds to go before I'm where I want to be at 170lbs. GOod luck to you radioouman.!
